Understanding attitudes towards the use of AI in reading CT scans

Researchers from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the University of Sheffield are seeking to understand how PH patients and their loved ones feel about artificial intelligence (AI) being used in the reading of their CT scans.

Please complete this survey before 31st October to share your views and inform this important piece of research to help develop technologies in healthcare.

A personal message from Dr Krit Dwivedi, Academic Clinical Lecturer in Radiology, who is leading the study:

“Thank you so much for taking the time to fill in this survey. Your input is incredibly valuable as I work to understand how patients feel about the use of AI in reading your CT  scans. I believe it’s important for patients like you to have a say in how your data is being used to help develop these technologies. Your feedback will help us ensure that we are addressing your views – both your hopes and any concerns. I especially am interested in how you feel about AI helping pick up signals we don’t right now normally think of, such as helping detect any weak bones and muscles. I want to hear from a wide range of both patients and carers, and particularly from communities that may not have had much exposure to AI, so that we can ensure everyone’s voice is heard. Thank you again for contributing to this important discussion.”
