A new PHA UK publication aims to support women with pulmonary hypertension experiencing perimenopause and menopause.
Menopause & PH answers common questions, shares real experiences, and provides expert advice to help those navigating this transformational period.
It has been produced by the PHA UK in line with the Patient Information Forum standards, and a patient panel provided feedback before publication.
Comments from this panel included:
“Very informative even for someone who is the other side of the menopause. I wish I had been able to have access to this booklet particularly when I was first diagnosed with PH.”
“Really good to have something specific about menopause as the medications for it can interfere with PH meds.”
“I have already been through the menopause years ago before I was diagnosed with PH and would have welcomed this information to guide me through all the symptoms and remedies available.”
Menopause & PH can be ordered for free here.
